Flight Control Technology (FCT) allows the player to easily adjust the loft, lie and face angle to affect side-to-side flight by up to 40 yards -8 clubhead positions. New FCT sleeve weighing less than three grams helps FCT and MWT exist together in a 460cc head. Deeper clubface and deeper CG location promote higher launch angle and higher spin-rate. FCT and MWT together offer total adjustability to promote up to 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory change

Fairway features the FCT sleeve and FCT bolt, and gives you the ability to adjust the club’s look at setup and effect changes in ball flight and trajectory.
TaylorMade say that their FCT promotes a trajectory change of up to 35 yards from side to side. This will help golfers hit the ball straighter and longer.
The new TaylorMade R9 fairways will also allow them to dial in the look they prefer at address with face angle square, slightly closed or slightly open.
Classic shape, centre of gravity more than 50 per-cent lower than the similarly sized r7 fairway woods making the R9 fairways easier to get into the air from any lie.

TaylorMade’s new R9 irons are designed to deliver modern performance and tremendous distance in a traditional package. Aimed at the technician, and so are rendered in a player’s shape with a look clean and conventional from every angle. Long-irons and middle-irons were designed separately from the short-irons in order to optimise performance in each category. The result is that the 4-iron through 6-iron are extremely long and easy to hit, and the short-irons are engineered to promote great feel, control and accuracy.
